This page provides tips for choosing the best resources for your industrial arts research.
Deciding What You Need
If you are researching something that is a established fact, try looking for books in the RTC Catalog, or encyclopedias, also found in the RTC Catalog or Credo Reference (on the RTC Library Database page). Examples of established facts include "early American crafts and trades".
If you are reseaching something new, such as "new appliance trends", try magazine, journal and newspaper articles (found in ProQuest.) For more information about searching ProQuest, click on the Articles tab above.
