Artificial Intelligence - AI: AI Websites

A basic guide to Artificial Intelligence: what it is, how to use it, and its limitations.

About this page

A short list of some AI sites, tools, and learning resources we've come across. We do not guarantee their privacy, accuracy, or ability to create non-copyright infringing content, so please use these with caution. They also are evolving and changing rapidly, so things that are true to day - "no account needed" for example - may not be true tomorrow.

Learning about AI

What is LinkedIn Learning?

Through our partnership with the King County Library System, RTC students and employees have free access to over 16,000 courses taught by industry professionals, including AI! Here are some options for you as a LinkedIn Learning user:

  • Learn about a specific AI topic (e.g. Getting Hands-On with GPT-4: Tips and Tricks)
  • You want to complete a "learning path" of multiple courses (e.g. Building Generative AI Skills for Developers)
  • You want a professional certification (e.g. Career Essentials in Generative AI by Microsoft and LinkedIn)

All of these options—and so many more—are available to you for free as an RTC student or employee.

Logging Into Linkedin Learning

1) Visit King County Library System's database page
2) Click on LinkedIn Learning from the alphabetical list of databases.
3) Log in with your library card number and PIN:
The "Library Card number" is assigned. Students use their student ID number with RTC at the beginning. Employees use their employee ID number with ERTC at the beginning. The password for both is the last four digits of your ID number.

Examples:
Student:
username: RTC809123456
password: 3456

Employee:
username: ERTC809123456
password: 3456
