Chef Darrell L. Anderson Culinary Archives

Chef Darrell L. Anderson (1929-2011) was a chef, restaurateur, and culinary educator in Washington State for nearly 50 years.  He was a president of the Washington State Chefs' Association and winner of some of the most important American culinary awards.

In 2007, he made a donation to Renton Technical College, to create the Chef Darrell Anderson Culinary Archives.  His gift included:

  • Menus
  • Recipes
  • ACF commemorative plates, trophies, and award medallions
  • Historical documents about state and national culinary associations.

Online Access: You can view collection finding aids and a small sample of the collection at the Renton Technical College Library Digital Archives.

RTC Library will be making more materials available online and in the library as time permits.
