Scholarship Resources: Transportation Technology Scholarships

Scholarships are available to women who are citizens of North America and have a genuine interest in pursuing or advancing in the automotive and mobility sectors. Applicants must be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited collegiate program, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be citizens of a country in North America. We accept applications year-round.

SAE and The Maintenance Council of American Trucking Associations established this technical education scholarship to honor the leadership of Donald D. Dawson. As Vice President of Maintenance with Roadway Express, Dawson worked through SAE and TMC to merge the goals of truck equipment users and manufacturers. This scholarship is intended to encourage the ideal of Dawson's respected technical competence in transport management.

SAE scholarships assist in developing the future engineering workforce by helping students achieve their dreams of becoming an engineer. SAE International awards scholarship money to both undergraduate and graduate engineering students.

Every year SEMA helps students pay for their college tuition and SEMA Members pay off their student loans. Students from all academic and technical disciplines that lead to careers in the automotive industry are welcome to apply!
