Statistical Agencies:
The Federal Statistical System comprises over 125 agencies that compile and publish statistics. A substantial portion of the official statistics the U.S. Government provides are produced by the 13 agencies that have statistical work as their specific mission. In addition, 3 statistical units (sub-components of agencies) are recognized as having statistical work as their specific responsibility. Below there are links to each of these agencies and to many of the informative web-pages they maintain.
Please let us know if there are additional sites that should be featured here (or elsewhere in this LibGuide).
